About Us
Welcome to Te Mātaioho Limited (TML), where tradition, innovation, and guardianship converge to empower Indigenous communities across Aotearoa, New Zealand, and beyond. Guided by the Māori proverb “Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu”, we provide tools, structures, and resources for growth, while protecting whenua, taiao, and future generations.
We design and steward Indigenous-led economic frameworks that inspire reflection and drive long-term outcomes. Our work is grounded in tikanga and informed by global experience, enabling communities to navigate complexity while remaining anchored to care, balance, and responsibility.
Through collaboration, we support initiatives that align economic participation with environmental responsibility, cultural values, and intergenerational wellbeing. Our team brings experience across secure logistics, high-value asset stewardship, and complex operational environments—ensuring systems are resilient, transparent, and future-focused.
We advance Indigenous prosperity by revitalising ancestral financial wisdom, integrating it into modern systems that strengthen financial sovereignty, ecological balance, and collective resilience. Every initiative reflects our belief that economic, cultural, and environmental outcomes are interwoven.
Vision
To support Indigenous communities in achieving self-determined futures through trusted systems, shared capability, and enduring opportunity, honouring ancestral values while embracing thoughtful, modern innovation.
Mission
We are committed to embedding Indigenous principles into economic system design, innovation, and alignment. Through strategic collaboration and disciplined stewardship, we support initiatives that strengthen financial sovereignty, climate resilience, conservation outcomes, and the wellbeing of present and future generations.
