About Us

Welcome to Te Mātaioho Limited (TML), where tradition and innovation merge to empower Indigenous communities across Aotearoa, New Zealand, and beyond. Guided by the Māori proverb “Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu”, we are committed to providing the resources and tools needed for growth and success, seamlessly integrating Indigenous values with modern financial solutions.

At TML, we develop strategic initiatives that inspire meaningful reflection and drive tangible action. Our vision is to build a stronger, more connected future where Indigenous communities can navigate challenges together. With over four decades of international experience, we bring deep expertise to this kaupapa.

Through collaboration, we deliver customised fintech and investment solutions designed to meet the specific needs of our people. Our team is also highly experienced in leading logistics and securely managing high-value assets, ensuring safe, transparent, and reliable operations across complex environments.

TML is dedicated to advancing Indigenous prosperity by providing fintech and investment solutions that help our people achieve their aspirations. We also support the revitalisation of ancestral banking practices, weaving traditional financial wisdom into modern systems that strengthen community resilience and financial sovereignty.

We raise capital from Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) through private equity and institutional investors for projects that align with Indigenous communities and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles. These projects focus on green finance, renewable energy, sustainable housing, and education initiatives, including the development of digital learning infrastructure to strengthen Indigenous capability and self-determination. Our approach ensures that every investment contributes to climate resilience, financial sovereignty, and intergenerational wellbeing across Aotearoa and beyond.

As a fund manager, we focus on offering investors tailored opportunities, guided by experienced professionals who uphold the principles of He Whakaputanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We work alongside financial and asset advisors across Aotearoa and internationally, ensuring our clients receive expert support from a highly skilled team with over 50 years of industry experience. Our commitment is to provide innovative fintech and investment solutions while ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
